				SQUARE PORTFOLIO is designed by an artist for artists, galleries, or anyone with image-based website needs. It provides affordable websites where the focus is clearly on the artwork. Square Portfolio's template has been honed to achieve a clean and elegant presentation while also taking into account the need for flexibility within that template. After all, each artist is unique. DIGITAL SLIDE SHEET A Square Portfolio website comes with the basic informational pages an artist would need (resume, statement, contact, links, news) and up to five custom-named pages for images. The image portfolio pages are designed to hold up to twenty square thumbnails – based on the format of the "old-fashioned" slide sheet: four across, five down. BYE-BYE POP-UPS & SCROLLING The small thumbnails trigger larger images which are viewable on the same page. This simple navigation avoids pop-up windows that clutter the screen, and allows for the viewing of both the entire image and its caption without the need to scroll. The area designated for the larger images is square, so both horizontal and vertical images can display easily on the same page. KEEPING IT REAL Because Square Portfolio is at its core a template, the cost of design can be kept at an affordable price – even for artists!
